Sharing the Gospel

🎧 Listen to Today's Devotional

Sunday's Reflection

Romans 1:16 — For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.
There's a difference between believing something quietly and being willing to say it out loud. Many of us hold our faith privately — we live it at home, keep it to ourselves, and never quite find the words to share it with anyone else. Paul felt the opposite. He said plainly that he was not ashamed of the gospel, and he staked his whole life on saying so.
This week is about what it actually means to share your faith — not with a script or a sales pitch, but with honesty about what God has done in your own life. Most of us feel nervous about it. We worry about saying the wrong thing or pushing people away. But the power was never in our eloquence. It's in the message itself, and in the lives that have been changed by it.
"Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, 'Follow Me.'" (Ellen G. White, The Ministry of Healing, p. 143)
This week's question: Where are you staying silent when you could be sharing?
Prayer: Father, give us boldness without arrogance and honesty without fear. Help us share what You have done in our lives. Amen.
