Faith That Overcomes

🎧 Listen to Today's Devotional

Saturday's Reflection

Revelation 14:12 — Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
The final conflict will be won by those who cling to Jesus’ faith. Not our weak faith, but His perfect faith in the Father is our anchor. The saints endure not because they are strong, but because they lean on Christ’s strength and trust His promises until the end.
In the early days of Adventism, believers endured ridicule, loss of jobs, and even family rejection because they chose to honor God’s commandments. Many lost earthly security but gained heavenly peace by clinging to Christ. Today, Christians around the world still face persecution for their loyalty to God’s law. Yet their endurance echoes Revelation 14:12: patience comes not from human grit but from Christ’s faith living in us. Their stories encourage us to hold fast, knowing that the same faith of Jesus will sustain us in the last day.
“Genuine faith is life; a living faith means an increase of vigor, a confiding trust, by which the soul becomes a conquering power.” (Ellen G. White, Gospel Workers, p. 262)
Prayer: Lord, give us conquering faith that endures every trial. May our trust in You grow stronger each day until faith becomes sight in Your eternal kingdom. Amen.
