Jesus warns us not because He wants us to live in anxiety, but because He wants us to live in constant communion with Him, making choices each day that reflect our eternal hope.

Within moments, over 230,000 people across 14 countries stepped into eternity. Entire communities vanished. Yet among the overwhelming tragedy, countless testimonies emerged of believers who lived each day with their hope firmly anchored in Christ. They faced that sudden disaster with peace that defied human understanding. Their security was not in their beachfront homes, their vacation plans, or their physical safety—it was in their relationship with Jesus. Readiness means living today with eternity in view, making decisions that honor God, treasuring relationships over possessions, and keeping our hearts tender toward His voice. When we walk with Jesus daily, we are always ready, because readiness is not about perfect performance—it is about abiding in Him.
